Allison and Austin committed forever to each other overlooking Camelback Mountain at the stunning venue of El Chorro. Revel Wedding Company pulled together all the gorgeous details to make their dream day come to life and Mint Green Design curated stunning floral arrangements to compliment the space. We loved working alongside Marisa Belle Photography capturing their special day.

How They Met:

Allison and Austin met at Easter Sunday church service. Mutual friends of theirs had both invited the two of them to sit with them. Austin and Allison barely talked that day. They had a few run-ins with each other, but kept it very light. It wasn’t until Thanksgiving later that year when the two actually had a conversation with each other, on a group hike. From there, Allison says, it was off-to-the-races!

The Proposal:

Allison describes their proposal as romantic, thoughtful, exciting, and fun all at the same time. Austin took her on a hike after work one Friday, the same hike where they had hit it off that special Thanksgiving morning. At the end of the hike there is this gorgeous view of the Golden Gate Bridge – and this is where Austin proposed. He surprised Allison with having her parents, her best friend, and his best friend all fly in to be there for their proposal. That evening he had made dinner reservations for everyone at the same restaurant where they had their first date – Foreign Cinema, and then took everyone to a boutique bowling alley (where they also went after dinner on their first date). There, more friends were awaiting Allison, Austin, and their crew to celebrate the big announcement! 

The Wedding:

Allison and Austin’s wedding was full of life, love, and energy! The love that surrounded the two of them and filled the room was contagious. Their closest friends and family traveled in from near and far to watch them commit their lives to one another. The elegant color palette of greens and neutrals complimented El Chorro’s stunning venue perfectly, with pops of color intentionally in all the right places. One of our favorite moments of their day was their ceremony. Their vows were intentional and full of beautiful commitments and promises, and we couldn’t help but include those in their highlight film, it helped tell their story beautifully.
