Annika and Jordan an Arizona Elopement

Annika and Jordan were our giveaway winners of a free Love Story and Elopement film! They also won an engagement shoot as well as their elopement photographed by Ashly Arts! It was such a perfect day for a sweet and adorable couple. The warm desert sunset, their bridal party, and close family attended their sweet ceremony and it couldn’t have been more rad. We just love, love and are so excited to be capturing it again! Especially if it’s an Arizona elopement!

Their Elopement Film

Their Love Story Film

How They Met:

Annika and Jordan met their freshman year of college when they moved to Arizona from different states. Their relationship started as friends and quickly progressed to much more. Jordan text Annika one day telling her he needed to come over to talk. She thought he was going to talk to her about friendship boundaries, and Jordan just wanted to finally ask her out on a date! Annika went straight into planning mode in her brain and just kept thinking of a good date to go without answering Jordan. Jordan sat in silence and finally asked, “So is that a yes?” “Yes!” Annika said and the rest is history!

The Proposal:

Jordan planned her proposal for three months! He knew he wanted to pop the question at the Grand Canyon. He got with her best friends and had them plan a “girls trip” with Annika. When Annika and the girls arrived she had a feeling it was happening so the nerves were high, after an hour of hiking the girls text Jordan and asked if they were supposed to be walking an hour to get to him. Turns out they were in the wrong location! They turned around and ended up heading to another lookout point. After walking a little closer Annika saw Jordan standing there and knew what was about to happen. With red roses in hand Jordan got down on one knee and asked Annika to be his wife. Surprise… she said “Yes!”

The Wedding:

After not being able to go through with Plan A due to COVID and the two wanting to keep their friends and family safe. They decided on an intimate elopement (which how perfect since they won our elopement film giveaway!) with just the two of them, their bridal party, and close family members in the middle of the desert near the Superstition Mountains. A warm color palette to match the warm Arizona Sunset was absolutely stunning on Labor Day Weekend. They will be celebrating their one year anniversary with a big wedding with friends and family.
