Katie and Nate were planning on getting married this season with all their closest friends and family. COVID then threw a wrench in their plans… but they did not let it to cancel their love! The two decided on an intimate Arizona elopement in the desert at Brown’s Ranch Trailhead in Scottsdale. With their closest family members in attendance to celebrate, the two said, “I do!” We captured their special day alongside Rachel Solomon Photography and it was super rad!
With everything happening in our world today, elopements are going to become more and more popular. And we are here for them!! Like Katie’s mom said in her speech; when you start planning a big wedding you sometimes get caught up in planning the big party.
Now don’t get us wrong, we love a good party! But there is something about an intimate elopement that focuses on just the two of you. Your love is now the main focus again. Katie and Nate’s elopement was perfect! We are so excited to continue capturing rad elopements for our COVID couples!
Katie’s outfit was super rad, I’m always down for a gorgeous wedding dress, but this!? So good and so fun for their desert Arizona elopement. Her simple, yet bold bouquet complimented her look well without taking away from the gorgeous scenery. Nate wore a plaid tux with a simple white boutonnière. We roamed around the desert for their couple portraits and ended the evening at their red Dodge Challenger decorated for them by their family. It was a perfect day, for a super rad couple!
