Romantic & Timeless Arizona Biltmore Wedding | Videographer Phoenix

We can not get over how gorgeous this wedding was! It was such an honor to be apart of Rachael and Daniel’s special day. They got married in early December at The Arizona Biltmore. It was a perfect day with talented vendors and a beautiful color pallet. Read about their story below!

How They Met:

Daniel and Rachael first met six years ago through Facebook. At the time Rachael photographed an all girls punk rock band and Daniel happened to be friends with the bass player. Later Rachael found out Daniel was a photographer too and fell in love with his photography work. After a few weeks of non-stop texting and calling they decided to meet officially in person in the middle of the Tempe Town Lake Bridge. They spent two hours at the edge of the lake that night with Rudy, Rachael’s Gold Retriever, watching the sunset and talking endlessly.

 

The Proposal:

The proposal happened in NYC on Top of the Rock at the Rockefeller Center overlooking the breathtaking NYC skyline. While up there, you could see everything! It was cold, according to Rachael, but it was beautiful and so worth it! While they were up there, they had to get a photo so Rachael asked a random stranger to take their picture. (Fun Fact: Rachael and Daniel are AZ Wedding Photographers!) Then, Daniel very spontaneously got down on one knee and the rest was a blur for Rachael. All she really remembers is saying, “Yes!” The stranger who took their photo did an excellent job and the rest of their trip they celebrated!

The Wedding:

We love capturing weddings at The Arizona Biltmore. The feel of the old time Hollywood, mixed modern gives us all the feels. The architecture there is so unique and the background opportunities for photo and video are endless and such a mix! Rachael and Daniel’s wedding was a mix of classic Chinese with a modern American twist. The Chinese traditions they brought into their wedding, such as the tea ceremony, where Rachael was wearing her traditional red Chinese dress was such an honor to capture. We love being apart of the couples unique story, and capturing that throughout the day. The ceremony site was breathtaking, the floral by Carte Blanche Design were straight out of a fairy tale. We loved the mixed bridesmaid dresses, we’re a sucker for that. And the classic black and white tuxes the guys were in were flawless.
