How They Met:
Amanda and Matt were set up together through a mutual friend. It was a co-worker of Amanda’s and Matt happens to be good friends with her husband. Often you hear people say that they don’t want to be set up, but we see so often that your friends might know what’s best! You never know who could be waiting just around the corner.
The Proposal:
Matt and Amanda were getting ready to leave their apartment for brunch with friends & Matt turned to Amanda and said “Babe, can I ask you something before we go?”. He put on their favorite song (which also happens to be the song they had their first dance too) and got down on one knee. Amanda, of course, said yes! Then the two went to brunch and Matt surprised Amanda with my parents there, as well as he flew in her best friends from LA, and had 45 of their friends & family there to celebrate! The day was spent with lots of laughs, champagne, and yummy food celebrating the engagement.
The Wedding:
The day was a romantic and magical day at the Four Seasons resort in Scottsdale. The ceremony and reception were adorned in the most beautiful ivory and blush pink floral. They had a picturesque outdoor wedding and an intimate candlelit reception.
We love that along with the blush pink color, they brought in touches of wine and gold to their day. We think it gives the day such a classy feel.
Amanda’s dress was perfect. It had such a flattering and fitting silhouette and we love the lace and sequin detail. It’s just enough to give the dress personality and fit the theme of romance that went throughout the day.
