How They Met:

Herb and Elizabeth met on a chilly December evening back in 2010. Liz’s best friend, who also happens to be the Maid of Honor, was dating Herb’s friend at the time. She was the one who got everyone together and they all hung out one night. However, it wasn’t until a month or so later that they started dating. These two fell in love really quickly and the rest is history!

The Proposal:

Herb and Elizabeth drove up to Sedona to celebrate their 5-year dating anniversary. The weekend was perfect- dinner, drinks, hiking and of course, a proposal. The lovely couple went to their favorite spot- Call of the Canyon- in Sedona. It was middle of winter so there was at least 3 or so feet of snow. They had hiked this spot many times before with their dog, Lucy, who was also with them that weekend. When they got to “the spot” as Herb says.. it was just the three of them, surrounded by the Sedona red rocks, forest and beautiful snow. That is when Herb dropped down on one knee and proposed. It was everything either one of them could have dreamed of and a day neither will ever forget.

The Wedding:

We love the “honest goofy love” that these two have for one another. You can tell just in the way they speak of one another, how honest and genuine the relationship is.

They were married at the stunning El Chorro, and the colors they choose for the day are so soft and natural. We love the mix of whites, blush, and tan are warm and inviting. We love the spin of fun they took for the groomsman’s bowties, and how each man is in a different color.
