Classic Brophy Chapel Wedding

How They Met:

Jack and Emily met in High School! Jack went to Brophy Prep and Emily went to Xavier Prep, the all girls school right next door. Their separate groups of friends met up at Country Thunder and they were instantly attracted to one another! Then the rest is history!

The Proposal:

Jack and Emily took a trip to Flagstaff where her family has a house. This was supposed to be for Emily’s birthday, but little did she know it would be for so much more! They spent the weekend just the two of them having a blast all around Flag. They went horseback riding, drove their jeep around, and watched lots of movies. In Emily’s words it “could not have been more perfect”.

The family had a birthday dinner planned at a nice restaurant in Flagstaff on Saturday night. Before dinner, Jack said he had a surprise for Emily and that it had something to do with what they did in high school. She knew INSTANTLY what they were doing and she was so excited. In high school they always used to watch the sunset on camelback mountain on the hood of their cars. 

Well, Emily was right! They drove their car up to this beautiful mountain with a bottle of wine to watch the sunset. Emily thought nothing of it since they used to do this all the time. Just as the sun was setting Jack gets up, then down on one knee and pops the question! Tears are flying and it is perfection!

On their way back down the mountain, Emily was dying to call everyone and share the exciting news, but Jack told her they should just wait until after their dinner to start telling everyone. Emily ended up agreeing and they drove downtown. As soon as they walked into the restaurant, there sitting at the table is Emily’s whole family, as well as Jack’s whole family there to surprise her! It was amazing.
