How They Met:

Landon and Paige met almost nine years ago while they were both in high school working at their first job at Harkins Theaters at SanTan Mall. They were both in different places in their lives and young as they were not looking for anything serious. Paige talks about how she noticed Landon with his “Justin Bieber” hair cut and that she thought he was just the cutest. Landon says Paige caught his eye as very beautiful and he wanted to get to know her more. It wasn’t until about 2 years after working with each other that Landon and Paige’s friendship turned into something more.

Their first official date was on the 4th of July 2011. They went with some friends to tumbleweed park and watched the fireworks. After the firework show the traffic leaving was pretty bad. Paige decided to get out of the car and direct traffic herself to get them out of there. Landon said at that point he knew, and fell in love with her strong independent personality. Over the next six years Landon and Paige would move out together, adopt their fur baby Dash, and start living their lives as one.

The Proposal:

Landon and Paige formed a bond over Disney during their trip for her 18th birthday. Ever since that first trip, that has been “their place”. They go there to celebrate promotions, graduations, birthdays, anniversary’s, or even just a quick weekend trip because that week was just to much adulthood to handle. Landon knew that Paige had always dreamed of being proposed to at Disneyland since she was a little girl. Being the awesome guy he is, he knew he had to make that happen one way or another. So then the planning began.

Landon started ring shopping for Paige in September of 2015. Two stores later with his Mom, Sister, and Dad and he found “the one”. They planned a trip to Disneyland for Thanksgiving weekend of 2015. They arrived at the hotel the evening before Thanksgiving and went straight to sleep. The next morning while Paige was getting ready in the bathroom, Landon went into the luggage to grab the ring he stashed in a pocket. Paige rarely goes in that pocket, but his heart sank when he found that Paige placed something in that pocket the night before and thought she found the ring. He played it off and tried not to worry about it on their way to the park. All the while Paige was checking pockets to see if it was going to happen this trip as they had been talking about it lately. She didn’t see any ring boxes in his pockets so she forgot about it and started planning out their day.

When they arrived at the park Paige suggested that they head straight to the castle for a picture since the park seemed empty that morning. Landon agreed without hesitation. When they arrived and it was their turn for a picture, Landon took a little longer than normal to hand his phone to the photographer. Paige thought nothing of it until Landon walked over to stand with her for a photo and she could basically feel his heart pounding out of his chest. Landon then got down on one knee and asked Paige to marry him.. the rest is history! They celebrated by face-timing all their closest friends and family, and eating Mickey Waffles at their favorite restaurant, The Carnation Cafe. Landon had made a reservation weeks before to make sure it was the perfect day, and it was.

The Wedding:

Oh this wedding was one for the books! Such a gorgeous day that we were so excited to be apart of. This wedding was close to our hearts as the Bride is one of our cinematographers! Paige designed and planned the whole day and it was a fairy tale fit for a princess. The day started out at The Courtyard Marriott in Mesa were they both got ready. Harley Ann Artistry and Infinite Artistry rocked it out. They dolled up all the girls and got them ready for Monique Hessler Photography and us to capture some special moments. After they were done getting ready they headed to The Paseo for Paige’s first looks. Yes we said looks, with her Dad, Brother, and of course Landon! (You have to watch the Same Day Edit to see the sweet tears from him! Oh how he loves her!) We captured some beautiful moments in front of the gorgeous reception hall at The Paseo. Then later that evening in the desert we captured some magic of the couple during sunset, and that was dreamy. Then came reception and the most perfect sparkler exit to end the night.

The maroon, navy, and blush color palette worked so well with the gorgeous backdrop of the superstition mountains and the loose greenery throughout the reception decor. Her bridesmaids pulled off the mixed dresses so well and some even included some rose gold sparkle we can’t get over! The boys all rocked a navy tux with maroon bow ties and brown shoes. The whole wedding came together so beautifully and we are still in awe of the day.
