For years now we have been saying to our “friendors” in the wedding industry “You need a promo video on your website. Clients need a way to connect with you and see that you are a real person. It’s a must in todays world of blogging and social media. Video is where it is going and you need to be there!!” What is the one thing that we didn’t have? Yes a promo video. We were touting it’s value yet didn’t have one ourselves…. So Jeff and I decided this last spring when we were on a roadtrip to LA shooting a wedding that it was either now or never… So we shot our promo video. I have been hearing from “friendors” like Melissa Jill and Heather Crabtree for forever that I needed to be more “present” on both our website and our blog. That you don’t hear my voice in our marketing and that I have things to say that people care about so my voice needs to be heard. Those of you that know me know that it is darn near impossible to not hear me when I am in a room. I am a loud talker, loud laugher and can be heard in a crowded stadium. Yet when it comes to our website and blog it has always been about Serendipity as a whole and not the 2 people behind it.
